Following last night’s announcement from the government, we know that you may be worried and wondering about how this could affect your essential supplies. Rest assured, we have plans in place to ensure we can run as normal a service as possible.
Coloplast Charter staff have been given key worker status, as an essential healthcare provider. UPS, our delivery agent, also has key worker status, so they can continue delivering your supplies. We also want to reassure you that we are looking after our amazing staff too. We continue to keep them as safe as possible with almost all the Customer Care team now working from home. Please excuse them when on the phone if you hear the odd interruption, a dog bark or doorbell ring.
We would like to ask you to continue to place your order when you usually would and for the usual amount. This helps everyone get through more easily when they need to. We have stock and our staff are working hard to take your orders. We have managed to increase our staff levels to support you at this time, however you may experience some slightly longer wait times than usual due to the number of calls coming through, so thank you in advance for your patience.
If you have a stoma and have your ostomy bags cut to size, we are still offering this service and aim to cut your bags as quickly as possible. Again, due to large order volumes we have seen recently this may take a couple of days longer than usual.

We know that your products are essential items and we do have sufficient stock available.
Our dedicated staff are here to answer your calls, although you may have to wait slightly longer than normal when calling as we are currently receiving such high call volumes. Our teams are pulling together to ensure that we can continue to deliver the service you expect.
There is no need to change when you would normally place your next order with us or change the amount of product you would usually request. GPs continue to provide us with prescriptions suited to your monthly routine, even when their surgeries might be closed to visits.
We have seen an increase in the request for Isagel (hand sanitiser) as a result of the Coronavirus, and we wanted to remind you that government guidance is very much focused on handwashing. We continue to provide Isagel for those using Intermittent and Trans-Anal Catheters and we will offer one bottle of this product per prescription order. Thank you for your support as we all work together during this unprecedented time. In the current environment we are all invested in the need to reduce patient footfall to surgeries and pharmacies.
