Struggling with your bowels?

What is Transanal Irrigation?
If you are managing your bowel symptoms with conservative methods like laxatives or lifestyle changes but are seeing minimal or no improvement, you may be able to try low-volume Transanal Irrigation (TAI) to relieve your symptoms.
This is when a small volume of lukewarm water (up to 250ml) is introduced into the rectum to clear out stool. This technique is designed to be easy to use and enables you to clear the lower part of your bowel so you can go about your day without worry.
If you experience stool leakage or struggle to completely pass stool, using a low-volume TAI system regularly can help you achieve control over your bowel.²

Peristeen Light can be used with or without the supplied extension tube, so you can see which way works better for you.
